Reflection
I'm glad I'm writing this after our PowerPoint Project for Reading Month. I understood most of what the PowerPoint Basics Lessons were talking about, but really doing them was something else. It was a lot of work and experimenting to get it right. I still have lots to work on like timing the transitions, different page layouts, WordArt and shapes, animating, etc.
We could use PowerPoint to make reports more interesting because "a picture is worth a thousand words." At home, I could use PowerPoint to organize Granny's old photographs. When I'm older I could use it in business meetings or to promote a product that I've invented or created.
PowerPoint is not a waste of time. It can be a big help to both students and teachers at school.
